Tricia D. Teague is a community servant, currently serving as Alderman on Danville's City Council since 2021. In her role as an Alderman, Tricia has a reputation for looking out for all citizens throughout the city. Tricia's peers unanimously elected her as Vice Mayor in 2023.

A Danville native and DHS graduate who lived elsewhere for 20 years, Tricia's service to the community began immediately after moving back to Danville in 2012. She started working as a volunteer tutor at the Danville Boys & Girls Club and a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Vermilion County. Today she still volunteers throughout the community, including as a member of the Winding Ivy Foundation and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Champaign/Danville graduate chapter.

Over the years Tricia has been recruited to serve as a board member for several Danville nonprofits, even holding leadership positions, including: Board President at Boys & Girls Club of Danville, President and Treasurer at Laura Lee Fellowship House, Vice President of Danville Public Library Board of Trustees, Parliamentarian of East Central Illinois Community Action Agency, Vermilion Advantage (served twice), and President of Danville High School Wall of Fame Committee.

Professionally, Tricia has had a wealth of work experiences as a corporate leader and entrepreneur. She currently works as CEO at The Trep School®, the company she founded in 2018 where she serves entrepreneurs as a coach, trainer, and strategist. She even uses her business to serve the community. As a grant writer, she secured state grant dollars to offer her Trep OnTrack Business Bootcamp to local startups at no cost to them. Instead of charging participants, Tricia prides herself on being a giver because the program gave $250,000 to 75 graduates to help them start and grow their businesses. In 2023 she opened Soar Space Business Center as a coworking space for small business startups. As a collaborator, she worked with Vermilion Advantage to secure multiple grants beneficial to Vermilion County's entrepreneurs and workforce.

Tricia's service is rooted in her Christian faith and her family. As a child she was a Girl Scout and delivered Meals On Wheels with her mother. She is a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church, the daughter of Robert Teague and Patricia & Gary Brownfield, sister to Maria (La Jason) Parker, and aunt (who is still lovingly referred to as TT by her adult nieces and nephew).
